About PresightIQ
Predictive business development intelligence for healthcare and life sciences executive search partners.
PresightIQ produces predictive business development intelligence for executive search firms that recruit senior leaders in healthcare and life sciences. The service tells search partners who is about to hire before the role exists, typically 60 to 90 days ahead of a posting.
The output is not a platform, a dashboard, or a data feed. It is a finished intelligence brief that arrives weekly, written for one specific desk. Each entry covers what happened, what roles the event creates, who to call, why now, and how to open the conversation. Every brief is territory-locked so no competing firm receives the same intelligence.
What PresightIQ does
PresightIQ monitors 65 signal types across healthcare and life sciences. These signals come from verifiable public sources: CMS enforcement data, FDA inspection reports and Warning Letters, state Certificate of Need filings, SEC disclosures, ClinicalTrials.gov, bond rating agencies, and PDUFA calendars.
Raw signals are not useful to a search partner. A CMS Immediate Jeopardy citation or an FDA Warning Letter is written for regulators, not for recruiters. PresightIQ interprets each signal for a specific desk: what roles the event creates, who the decision-maker is, what outreach angle opens a retained conversation, and how much time the search firm has before the opportunity becomes public.
Healthcare intelligence covers 39 signal types across 11 search specialisms, including hospital executive leadership, nursing leadership, physician recruitment, surgical services, behavioral health, quality and compliance, and hospice and palliative care.
Life sciences intelligence covers 26 signal types across three subsectors: Biopharma (drug development and commercial launch), MedTech (medical devices and diagnostics), and CDMO (contract development and manufacturing organizations).
How the service works
PresightIQ operates as an intelligence retainer, not a software subscription. Two delivery modes are available.
Done-for-you intelligence. A finished brief arrives weekly. The search partner acts on it the day it lands. No research required, no monitoring, no data to interpret. This works the same way the search partner's own clients retain them: you retain expertise to deliver outcomes, not a tool to figure it out yourself.
System installation. PresightIQ builds the intelligence infrastructure for a specific desk: signal sources, filtering logic, interpretation framework, output templates. The search firm's team runs it. Higher upfront investment, lower ongoing cost. The firm owns the system.
One retained mandate from one market event, typically $30,000 to $80,000 or more in placement fees, covers two full years of the intelligence retainer.
Who PresightIQ serves
The service is built for boutique and mid-size retained executive search firms that place C-suite and VP-level leaders in US healthcare organizations and life sciences companies. Clients include firms covering hospital systems, physician groups, surgical platforms, biotech, pharma, medical devices, and contract manufacturing.
PresightIQ is not a search firm. It does not compete with clients. It does not recruit candidates. It produces the intelligence that helps search partners win retained mandates instead of competing on contingency.
